The SmartElex Power Meter featuring the Allegro ACS37800 IC is a robust, high-accuracy sensor designed for monitoring power in DC systems up to 60VDC and ±30A current. Ideal for applications like 3D printer power monitoring, UAV battery systems, solar panel monitoring, and battery charging, this sensor offers reinforced galvanic isolation using Hall-effect technology—eliminating the need for bulky or power-wasting components like shunt resistors or transformers.
The sensor communicates via I2C (default address: 0x60) and supports fast fault detection, voltage/current zero-crossing detection, and configurable safety thresholds. With a bandwidth of 1 kHz, RMS voltage noise of ±0.3mV, and RMS current noise of ±0.1A, it's suited for medium-to-high current DC applications, not low-current sensing.
