UPGRADED XL6009 DC-DC ADJUSTABLE BOOST MODULE 5-40V 4A WITH DIGITAL DISPLAY
XL6009 is a 4A switch current high-performance boost ( BOOST ) module. This module uses the second-generation high-frequency switching technology XL6009E1 as the core chip, and its performance far exceeds that of the first-generation technology LM2577. The XL6009 booster module has lower costs and better performance, and the LM2577 module is about to be eliminated.
Features:
- XL6009 Step-up Power Module uses XL6009 as the main control chip to realize the broader scope of application for boosting.
- It shows the adjusted results intuitively with the digital tube.
- There is no need to use the multimeter, which will be more convenient.
- Equipped with the Schottky diode, you need not be worried about the wrong operation.
- It adds a ventilation hole on PCB to enhance the capacity of heat dissipation.
- The booster below 5V works normally, but the digital tube does not work
- Built-in 4A high-efficiency MOSFET switch tube, making the efficiency up to 94%( LM2577 current is only 3A ).
- An ultra-high switching frequency 400KHz can achieve very good results with a small-capacity filter capacitor, the ripple is smaller and the volume is smaller. (The frequency of LM2577 is only 50KHz ).
- With input display indicator and output display indicator, the IN indicator lights when the digital tube displays the input voltage, and the OUT indicator lights when the digital tube displays the output voltage.
- With overheat protection and short circuit protection

Note: This module is not suitable for running a DC motor, as the module is not able to handle the high current requirement of a DC motor but it can run a small DC Toy motor, whose current requirement is less than 100milli amp.
