Description
Ai Thinker ESP-12F ESP8266 Serial WiFi Module
The Ai Thinker ESP-12F is a compact, low-power WiFi module based on Espressif's ESP8266EX SoC. It packs a 32-bit Tensilica processor, 4MB SPI flash and an onboard PCB antenna into a small shielded SMD package, making it a popular choice for adding WiFi to IoT devices, sensors and home automation products.
The module ships with AT command firmware, so it can be used as a serial (UART) WiFi adapter with any microcontroller such as Arduino, or programmed directly as a standalone controller using the Arduino IDE, ESP8266 SDK, NodeMCU Lua or MicroPython.
Key Features:
ESP8266EX SoC with 32-bit Tensilica L106 core (80 / 160 MHz)
802.11 b/g/n WiFi at 2.4 GHz with onboard PCB antenna
4MB (32Mbit) SPI flash
Station, SoftAP and SoftAP + Station modes
UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, GPIO and 1 x 10-bit ADC
Supports WPA / WPA2 security
Low-power deep sleep mode for battery-powered projects
Metal shield cover and castellated edge pads for easy soldering
