I have both the **TB21 and this amplifier**, and honestly, I don't notice any significant difference between them in terms of sound quality. The **bass and treble controls work really well** and give you good control over the sound. Another advantage is that you don't need to attach a separate bass/treble tone-control board.
For the power supply, I recommend using a **24V 10A power supply** with this amplifier. I would recommend **at least 6A**, especially if you plan to run the amplifier at higher volumes.
I'm currently using it with **two 50W speakers and one 80W subwoofer**, all rated at **4 ohms**, and the performance has been excellent.
There is also **virtually no audible humming or background noise** from the board in my setup, which is a big plus.
I'm very satisfied with this amplifier and will probably purchase another unit in the future.
**Overall, a very good choice for a DIY 2.1 speaker setup.**
