XL6009 LM2596 DC-DC Step Up Down Boost Buck Voltage Power Converter Module is a non-isolated Step up and step down ( boost as well as buck) constant voltage (CV) DC-DC converter Module. The main advantage of using this module is the output voltage remains fixed even if the input voltage goes below or above the set voltage. This module has an Output voltage independent of input voltage (3.5V-28V input, any value output 1.25V-26V).
In this, you can set the output voltage anywhere from 1.25 volts to 26 volts and even if the input voltage varies from 3.5 volts to 28 volts the output voltage will remain fixed as per the set voltage (which can be adjusted using an on-board trim pot).
This module is perfect for solar applications where you want to give a constant 12 to 14 volts to charge your battery but the output of the solar panel varies according to the sunlight.
