Serial Port Mini RS232 to TTL Converter Adapter Module Board MAX3232 – 5V UART Level Converter
The Serial Port Mini RS232 to TTL Converter Adapter Module is a bi-directional electrical level converter designed to interface RS232 serial devices with 5V TTL-level UART systems. It converts signals from RS232 voltage levels to TTL levels and from TTL levels back to RS232. The module is suitable for connecting PCs and laptops with microcontroller UART interfaces and can be used in embedded electronics, robotics, experimental and educational projects. It uses a MAX232CSE transceiver and supports communication speeds of up to 120kbps. The compact 50 × 40mm PCB includes low-current status LEDs and is designed for very low power consumption.
The module supports a 3.0–5.5V VCC input and provides dedicated TTL and RS232 signal connections. An optional onboard PSU is also specified for quick-start internal or external use.
