Description
RC522 RFID Reader/Writer Module 13.56MHz SPI S50 for Arduino, ESP32 & Raspberry Pi
The RC522 RFID Reader/Writer Module is a compact, low-power 13.56MHz RFID communication module designed for reading and writing MIFARE S50 compatible RFID cards and tags. Built around the reliable NXP MFRC522 RFID chip, it supports ISO/IEC 14443 Type-A communication and interfaces with microcontrollers using the SPI protocol.
Available in two variants, you can choose the complete starter kit with an RFID card and keychain tag or the board-only version for integrating into your existing RFID projects.
Operating at 2.5V–3.3V, the RC522 module features advanced modulation, high-speed data transfer up to 848 kBd, integrated CRC coprocessor, programmable timer, 64-byte FIFO buffer, internal self-test, and software power-down mode for reliable RFID communication.
It is an excellent solution for RFID access control, attendance systems, smart locks, inventory management, asset tracking, contactless authentication, IoT projects, and embedded development.
